We have exciting news for military-connected families! Eligible youth in Active Duty, Reserve, National Guard and Coast Guard families can take advantage of Scouting America’s Military Family National Fee Waiver.

This waiver covers the $85 national youth registration fee for eligible new and renewing youth members registering online. Please note that local council, unit, optional add-on and processing fees may still apply. At , we help young people grow in confidence, leadership, friendship, skills and a sense of belonging. We’re proud to help make that experience more accessible for military families in the LHC region.

Tonight our scouts learned how to do lashings! Thank you to Zach Gass for teaching our scouts. They all were engaged and we’re having fun.

This week our Troop attended an amazing camp in Ohio, Ft. Steuben Experience. Our newer cross overs attended the Trail Blazer program, and between those scouts and one of our older scouts they earned a total of 10 merit badges in less than 3 days. This included the troop participating in a flag ceremony. Also one of the siblings of a troop member got to attend the AOL program. So proud of them all!

Our scouts have been sharpening their skills learning everything for the Totin Chip this month.

Troop 834 and Pack 860 walked in the Scott Twp. Memorial Parade to honor those that sacrificed their lives for our freedom.
