Spring is a season of new beginnings.
For many women, access to cervical cancer screening can mean the chance for a healthier future. Edmunda, the patient in this photo, was diagnosed through one of our clinical trials in Honduras and received support through our patient care program—marking a new beginning for her.

Today we visited the Vive Rosa program, with , who spoke with Dr. Juan Carlos Rauda Monge, our project coordinator, to discuss cervical cancer and the support work that the NGO provides to patients suffering from this disease to help them overcome it.

At BHI, we are celebrating the women in health care who are caring for women, in remote corners where health care is not accessible.
My name is Vilma Maravilla and I'm a nurse at BHI. In my role as a nurse, I'm able to help women and I hope to inspire young girls to pursue their dreams in scientific fields.
