Kate brings more than 16 years of clinical prosthetic experience, working closely with individuals with limb loss to restore mobility, function, and independence. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to advancing the field through mentorship, education, and interdisciplinary patient care.

As we expand access to prosthetic care through our mobile clinic, Kate's expertise and patient-centered approach will help bring care directly to the communities we serve.

Last week, Candice and Josh were proud to represent Team Humotech at the orthotic and prosthetic community's premier professional meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada — the 2026 AOPA National Assembly! We enjoyed catching up with colleagues and exploring new frontiers with leaders from across the industry.

A highlight was Sujay Kestur's presentation on the collaborative AFO emulation study we are supporting at clinical study sites including Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and VA Puget Sound Health Care System, led by Drs. During the wonderful Saturday session moderated by Kinsey Herrin, we also had special appreciation for Deema Totah's presentation of mechanical test methods for AFOs. Concurrently, Shawn Murphy and Ken Kauffman shared updates on the LLPR which is expanding in scope and impact with their new LOV patient-centered platform. The momentum of data-driven methods for clinical O&P care is clearly building!
