Members of the MAPS team were busy around the communities this week presenting a hydration lesson to the older adult population and attending the Pittsburgh Pirates Pride Night at the game.

Presentations were held at the local LifeSpan’s where we interacted with the members to discuss hydration, why it is important and ways to prevent dehydration. Yummy popsicles were provided to everyone in attendance to enjoy during the presentation!

At the Pirates game, team members provided resources, a team member presented the progress flag on the field pre-game, and more it was a great night in the city!

As May is winding down, we want to remember how important mental health awareness is not just something to think about in the month of May.

Mental health is part of everything we do, how we think, feel, and show up each day! Taking care of your mind is just as important as taking care of your body.

Continue to take a moment to check in with yourself, practice self-care, and lean on your support system(s). Being awareness of our stress levels, how we take care of ourselves, and the support we have.
