🇬🇧 What a week! The 12th Annual Britsburgh Festival has officially wrapped, and we're still buzzing.
Mon 9/7 — Opening Day Tea at Mansions on Fifth
Sold out! Kim's presentation on the Abdication had everyone hooked over their teacups. What a way to kick things off.
Tue 9/8 — Britsburgh Ale Cask Tap at East End Brewing Company (Larimer)
Beautiful weather, great music outside courtesy of Joel Lindsey. Can't beat a pint in the sunshine.
Wed 9/9 — Walking Tour downtown w/ Karen Cahall, Pittsburgh History & Landmarks Foundation
Sold out and absolutely fascinating.
Wed 9/9 — Union Jack Tracks at Club Cafe
From the Beatles to Olivia Dean, with stops for Adele, Black Sabbath, Dua Lipa, and Cream along the way — The killer band and guest vocalists Clinton Clegg, Addi Twigg, Anton DeFade, Brandon Lehman, Jacob Pleakis, Mariko Reid, John Shannon and Kiki Brown.
Thu 9/10 — British Trivia @ East End Brewing (Mt. Lebanon)
Wall to wall, packed house. You lot really know your UK!
Fri 9/11 — Comedy Night at The Pitch on Butler
Bill Crawford and Harriet Riley were terrific — so much fun. We were also honored to have Ampelio DeAnda, Immigrant and Refugee Affairs Coordinator for the City of Pittsburgh, welcome everyone on behalf of the Mayor, coinciding with the city's Welcome Week.
Sat 9/12 — Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC Night @ F.N.B. Stadium
Rain came down hard, but the die-hards showed up anyway — and the Riverhounds won, 1-0!
Sun 9/13 — Festival Finale Fête @ Allegheny RiverTrail Park, Aspinwall
Gorgeous weather to close out the week. Joel Lindsey kept British music going all day, David Frankowski's interactive miniatures display was a hit, and HibachiLou412 and Iron City Distilling kept everyone fed and refreshed (food/drink for purchase).
We met so many people new to Pittsburgh and new to Britsburgh this week — and that's always the goal. This isn't a one-and-done — British things happen with us all year long! Follow our socials, join our mailing list, or become a member to stay in on it all.

🅿️ Know Before You Go: Parking for the Festival Finale Fête
Heading to Allegheny RiverTrail Park this Sunday? Here's the lowdown on parking:
🚗 On-site lot — There's parking right inside the park, but it's limited and moves fast with groups coming and going all afternoon. Worth a shot, but have a backup plan!
🆓 Free street parking — Aspinwall street parking is FREE on Sundays! Metered spots on Freeport Rd, Brilliant Ave, Commercial Ave, and more are yours at no cost.
🕐 Municipal lot — Opens up at 1 PM (the Farmers Market has it in the morning), so it's a great option once you're past the early rush.
Plan ahead, arrive early if you can, and get ready for a day of games, crafts, storytime, and community fun by the river! 🇬🇧

Today marks 25 years since September 11, 2001. Britsburgh exists to celebrate the deep ties between Britain and America — and this day is part of that history too. In the days that followed, the United Kingdom stood with America in grief and solidarity, from the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace to messages of support that crossed the Atlantic in the hardest days.
Today, we remember all those lost, and everyone still carrying that loss. 🕊️
This Sunday (9/13), join us at Allegheny River Trail Park in Aspinwall for the Britsburgh Festival Finale Fête — a proper British village fête on the riverbank. Lawn games, co****le, Britsburgh photo ops, a Kids' Craft Corner, David Frankowski's miniatures and with music from Joel Lindsey Entertainment setting the mood. Free admission, 12–4 PM. (Hibachi Lou and Iron City Distilling will be on-site for food and drinks, available for purchase.) Come wrap up the festival with us! 🇬🇧
