The Citizen Science Lab

Summer might be over, but science is FOREVER 🧬✨

Our Saturday programs are back, bringing real experiments, real tools, and real discovery to scientists of all ages. No reading, no writing, just doing!

Young Scientists (ages 5-12) experiment Saturday mornings from 10-12, and Adult Scientists experiment Saturday evenings from 6-8, at our Hill District and South Hills locations.

"This is where foundations are built." 🧬✨

Hands-on science doesn't just teach. It transforms how young people see themselves. Through our partnership, Dr. Margaret J. Starkes, Principal at a Pittsburgh Public School, has watched her students go from curious to confident, showing up eager and excited because they're not just learning about science, they're doing it.

That's the difference real, hands-on experience makes. It's why students look forward to every session, every trip, every opportunity to grow into the scientists they're becoming. This is the work. This is why we do it.🧪🫶🏾
