To foster a successful transition for Veterans and families through health, fitness, and therapeutic recreation. It is a Trademark of AllenForce.
AllenForce serves all eras of veterans and their families under the therapeutic recreation modality, through health, fitness and recreation. It is founded and named in memory of Donna's father who served in the Army. The free programming and services provide a connection for positive mental health, physical opportunities and continued healing along with the camaraderie of veteran network through the organization and it's volunteers. The four program through which it serves are Vet Rec, SheForce, Healthy Minds Healthy Bodies, and VETANK. HMHB was first started by Donna in 2009 with NEDSRA, to assist veterans who are injured through health and fitness training and social networking. Since the launch of HMHB the project has been well received by veterans and their families and is growing nation-wide. There are more than 30 licensed locations in Chicago area alone.
