Stormy weather is always a little easier when you’re surrounded by friends.

Our residents spent the weekend smiling, enjoying delicious baked goods, sharing good conversation, creating, playing games, and finding comfort in the simple joy of community. There’s no better way to brighten a rainy day!

Beyond the Book Club: Meet the Author!

A heartfelt thank you to Patricia Anne McCartin, author of The Greatest Love Story: The 100-Foot Love Letter Dated October 19, 1945, for visiting our community and sharing her incredible family story.

Our residents enjoyed learning about Patti’s father, Frank McCartin, and his experiences during World War II. The historical memoir centers around a remarkable handwritten love letter spanning 100 feet, discovered decades later in the family home in Astoria.

Thank you, Patti, for bringing this beautiful piece of family history to life and giving our residents an afternoon filled with storytelling, history, and connection.

Never Forget.

Thank you, Rich Acritelli, for visiting our community today and sharing your knowledge and perspective on September 11th. Through your thoughtful presentation, our residents had the opportunity to reflect on the history and events of that day, remember those we lost, and honor the lives forever changed.

We are grateful for the opportunity to come together as a community in remembrance and reflection. We will always remember.
