And while those accomplishments make us proud, they don’t fully tell the story.

This season wasn’t about trophies.

It was about a group of boys learning to trust each other.
Learning to battle through adversity.
Learning that success is sweeter when it’s shared.

We won together.
We lost together.
We grew together.

Every practice, every game, every tournament brought new lessons. Some days we celebrated. Some days we were humbled. But through it all, these boys continued to show up for one another.

That is what I’m most proud of.

A special congratulations to the Texas Warhawks 8U on winning the NCS World Series Championship. Throughout the season, they proved to be one of the best teams we faced, but even more impressive was the way they carried themselves. Their talent, sportsmanship, and respect for the game set a tremendous example for youth baseball.

As for our Generals, this season was never about becoming champions.

It was about becoming teammates.
Becoming brothers.
Becoming better than we were yesterday.

The medals will eventually collect dust.

The friendships, lessons, memories, and character built this season will last much longer.

We are not just players.

We are Generals.

And we’re just getting started.
