S.Mehreen Miniatures

Taller Targioni spool table: latest addition to the sewing room.

My splurge at the 2026 Texas Miniature Showcase: thrilled to find this Jane Woodham (Truly Scrumptious Miniatures) typewriter at the Tiny Doll House NYC booth.

Bought this miniature embroidery stand, but I cannot recognize the maker's mark.

Sewing basket with cross-stitched lid, by unknown artist.

My haul from the Texas Miniature Showcase 2025. It was a amazing to meet old friends and new, and walking around for hours taking in all the tiny treasures. Every time I looked, I saw something new. The hardest part is waiting one more year for the show.

The beautiful hand-embroidered lace pillow was a gift from my friend Kellie Wachter of Yankee Dimes Sewing. From Creative Hollow, I got the preserve jars, pie, doll, teddy bear, paint palette and brushes, bone carved elephant, tiny bird, shells basket, embroidery set, and a beautiful petit point framed picture. The bigger cross stitched square was done by Granny B's Bonnie Ferguson. The resin baskets and Kathy Tepper burlwood vase are from Miniature Designs. Tea cups and book from Betinha Murta Miniatures. Frogs from Brown's Miniatures. Mirrored etagere from Sandra M. A. Manring. And finally, the 1:144 furniture kits are from Volker Arnold of V A Holzkunst.

Recently found this 1:12 scale antique camera. At first I did not see the maker's mark, but I was able to reach Nancy Leidereiter Quinby of Nantasy Fantasy and she confirmed this is their Conley Improved Camera. I even found the tini tiny "Nf" mark on one of the tripod legs. I am so thrilled to have their original piece in my collection!

For years, I kept my miniatures in their boxes waiting for the day when my dollhouse was perfectly decorated with wallpaper, lights, tiles and all; but I haven't been able to decide how to decorate my house. So I have taken out a part of my collection and placed them in my unfinished dollhouse. It's not perfect, but seeing my tiny treasures makes me happy.

So happy to have added the Susanne Russo garden furniture sets to my collection. I have seen the grapevine set in other colors as well, but the fern set is usually in green. I was not able find a matching table for the fern set. I wonder if this one originally came with a table.

Jill Marquis miniature art supplies! When I bought these sets on eBay, the seller didn't mention the artist. Once I got them I noticed the signature, and internet sleuthing led me to Marquis Miniatures. I think I need to make an artist's studio now.

Found this beautiful cherry wood nursery set. According to the seller, the set was originally made in England and curated from a collection from the Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures in Tucson, Arizona. It is perfect for the Camille Allen baby doll I got at the Texas Miniature Showcase last week.
