A student cannot pursue a career they have never had the opportunity to see.

That is why career exposure is an essential part of the Foundation for C.H.O.I.C.E. experience.

Through workplace visits, mock interviews, résumé development, professional conversations, job shadowing, and our Business Champion program, students begin connecting what they learn in school to real possibilities in the workplace.

At Foundation for C.H.O.I.C.E., students receive 27 weeks of personalized support focused on college planning, career exploration, financial aid, professional skills, and confident decision-making.

We don’t simply ask students, “Where do you want to go?”

We help them understand why they want to go, how they will get there, and what they need to succeed once they arrive.

Through mentorship, college and career preparation, workforce development, and real-world experiences, we help students recognize their strengths, explore new possibilities, and prepare for life after high school.

We do this because potential is everywhere, but access to opportunity is not—and sometimes one caring adult is all it takes to help a student see what is possible.

Some of our students are still waiting for their mentor this school year. We provide the training, curriculum, materials, and ongoing support. You simply show up and invest one hour a week.
