On Saturday, September 19th, the BioStem team joined the American Diabetes Association in South Florida for their annual Step Out Walk®, raising awareness and much needed donations for the fight to end diabetes.

As the official Wound Care Partner and Elite sponsor of this year's walk, BioStem proudly supports its efforts to improve the lives of people affected by diabetes and the physicians helping them.

An estimated 537 million people worldwide are living with diabetes, and approximately 19% to 34% may develop a diabetic foot ulcer during their lifetime. These wounds can lead to serious complications, making education, prevention, and access to appropriate care critically important. BioStem’s offering of advanced Surgical Care and advanced Wound Care products are designed to support patient outcomes, including those with Diabetic Foot Ulcers (DFUs), helping them get back to what they love to do most… like supporting the American Diabetes Association being a part of the Step Out Walk.
