Having moved here from Las Vegas, where even the “quaintest” little spots are often owned by massive corporations, I’ve completely fallen in love with the mom-and-pop soul of South Florida. The places that have been here for decades not because they had the biggest marketing budget, but because they had good coffee, good food, and a community that kept coming back. Chez Cafe has been serving Pompano since 1990, and with the McNab Bridge closure, a lot of people simply aren’t driving by it anymore. So consider this your reminder to take the detour. Grab the coffee. Order the homemade breakfast. Use the drive-thru on a chaotic camp morning. Sit for a few extra minutes if you can. Because the places that become part of our family routines and community memories only stick around if we keep showing up for them. And honestly? Those are exactly the kinds of places that made me fall in love with living here in the first place. Follow along for more local gems, motherhood, marriage, wellness, and building a slower, more connected life in South Florida. 🤍🌴

Chez Café is hands down the best cafe in Broward County! ☕️ #bestcafe #southflorida #supportlocal #fyp #goviral
