We are incredibly grateful to Frank’s Muth in Frankenmuth for selecting HAVEN as the beneficiary of this special event. A very special thank you to store manager Stephanie and her amazing team for organizing such a meaningful day and to Sherri and Cara from the Bridgeport Jeep Club for a beautiful day filled with community, generosity, and heart.

Thank you as well to Biggby Coffee owners Jennifer and Jim Long (pictured here with grandson James), Schaefer & Bierlein Jeep dealership, live musician Karl Klutts, and to all who attended, participated, and donated in support of HAVEN’s mission.

From Jeeps and coffee to music, laughter, and community spirit, the day was great fun and a wonderful reminder of how people can come together around a shared passion while making a meaningful difference for others.

📢 We’re hiring a Daily Living Specialist at HAVEN’s residential shelter!

The Daily Living Specialist at HAVEN's residential shelter creates an open and empowering environment to interact, educate, and support individuals with their daily living activities. They will share recipes, organizational strategies, and cleaning tips to promote health and safety for each individual. They will ensure the kitchen and all its related operations run efficiently, within budget and in accordance to all compliance regulations.

🕐 Shift: Tuesday–Saturday, 1pm–9pm

✔️ Requirements include:
High school diploma or equivalent
Cooking and nutrition knowledge
Food safety certification (ServSafe or equivalent)
Valid Michigan driver’s license

A few days ago, we had the incredible opportunity to welcome the DTE Waterford Service Center team to HAVEN as volunteers, and our hearts are still full of gratitude. 💜

They spent their days alongside us caring for our garden, repairing sections of our fence, and fixing parts of our shelter playground, including the basketball hoop that brings so much joy to the children and families we serve. They also hosted a wonderful BBQ for our staff and the survivors staying at our shelter, creating moments of connection, and community that meant so much to everyone.

To the entire DTE team: thank you for showing up with open hearts and helping make our shelter an even more welcoming, safe, and caring place. Your support reminds us that when a community comes together, it can make a lasting difference in the lives of those who need it most. ✨

Summer Camp is almost here, and we're still in need of donations! We are collecting Gatorade, mini water bottles, mini juices, snacks, and breakfast items to help make camp a great experience for every child.
