Our 5th Annual Show & Shine for HAVEN is officially in the books, and our hearts are incredibly full.

To our sponsors, vendors, volunteers, planning committee, everyone who registered a vehicle, bought a raffle ticket, donated, shopped, brought the kids, shared our posts, and simply came out to spend the day with us...

And a huge thank you to Birch Run Speedway & Event Center for generously donating the venue and giving us an incredible place to bring this event to life.

We don't have our final fundraising total yet. There is still a lot to count and add up, but we already know this year's Show & Shine was an amazing success. We cannot wait to share that final number with you!

But this day was about so much more than vehicles, trophies, raffles and vendors.

It was about a community coming together for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.

And you showed up. 💜

We hope you had as much fun as we did, and we hope to see every one of you back next year!

And we're definitely not done saying thank you. There are so many incredible people and businesses who helped make this event possible, and over the next few days we'll be giving some very well deserved shout outs. Stay tuned! 💜

Next up is our October 10 Fill the Trailer for HAVEN 💜 Community Donation Drive. We raised money at Show & Shine. Now we're getting ready to fill our trailer with critical supplies for survivors who are rebuilding their lives.

The Show & Shine may be over, but the mission continues.

The Michigan chapter has raised more than $123,000 for HAVEN over a five-year partnership.

A night of joy, connection, and healing at the Detroit Zoo. 🦁

On September 10, HAVEN survivors, families, and staff came together for Night at the Zoo; a special evening generously donated by the Detroit Zoo and created just for HAVEN. 🐾

Families explored incredible animals through a guided educational program, made s’mores, enjoyed thoughtful gifts, and most importantly, shared time together in a safe and welcoming space. 🦒🍫

For the 80–100 individuals who attend each year, moments like these are more than a fun night out. They’re opportunities to heal, create lasting memories, and experience the joy they deserve.

We are deeply grateful to the Detroit Zoo, our donors, and our community partners for helping make these meaningful moments possible. Thank you for helping HAVEN families make memories that matter. 💜
