New phishing scam just dropped. Maybe others have seen this but I've never experienced anything quite like this before. Crazy how some people will fall for it but I can see why it would scare a lot of people into complying and giving away everything. Posting here for awareness. They don't even have to hire or enslave human scammers anymore. Spread the word! Everything is a scam until further notice!
No matter what any engineer or CEO says, AI is not ready to do absolutely everything, and it could be argued that we don't necessarily want it to. On top of needing to have the conversation of *what* systems we want automated and which we would like to keep human for the sake of humanity, there need to be major upgrades to hardware before it can compare to humanity without throwing absurd levels of power and compute at the problem.

Microsoft has officially admitted that core Windows 11 features including the Start Menu, Taskbar, and File Explorer have been broken. The confession confirms months of user complaints, highlighting a significant quality control crisis as Microsoft prioritizes flashy AI features over fundamental OS stability. A fix is promised, but no timeline has been given. Microsoft has also surprised that users are against AI features and expressed surprise that the users are not liking AI features baked into their OS including Office apps continuelsly on twitter.

In a surprisingly low-key move, content creator PewDiePie has established one of the most advanced personal AI laboratories seen to date, running entirely from his own home setup. This project moves far beyond typical consumer AI use, focusing on deep, cutting-edge development.
His lab is currently running enormous language models, including the massive LLaMA-70B and an impressive 240-billion-parameter system, all hosted locally. He is layering complex tools for memory, search functions, and voice capabilities on top of these models to create a fully interactive, highly advanced personal assistant.
PewDiePie is now developing a fine-tuned, self-hostable model intended for public use, demonstrating the incredible potential of private AI development.
