Get on the Farm. The 24th Annual Jefferson County Farm Tour. This weekend!
More details, including participating farm schedules, workshops, maps, and special events: https://www.theproductionalliance.org/farmtour
It’s almost time for one of our favorite fall traditions! The 24th Annual Jefferson County Farm Tour is happening this weekend, with 21 local farms and producers opening their gates for self-guided tours, demonstrations, and opportunities to meet the people behind our local food and farm economy.
As you’re making the rounds, keep an eye out for us! Jefferson Land Trust staff and board members will be stationed at two participating farms that are permanently protected by the Land Trust: Kodama Farm & Food Forest, protected in 2021, and Red Dog Farm, protected in 2011. We’ll be greeting visitors and answering questions at both locations Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm. We hope you’ll stop by!
In partnership with the community, the Land Trust has helped permanently protect 22 Jefferson County farms, totaling close to 1,600 acres of agricultural land. These working lands strengthen our local economy and food security while sustaining a rural way of life and the scenic open spaces we love. By partnering with willing landowners on conservation easements, we help ensure that farmland remains available for farming for generations to come.
Farm Tour is presented by The Production Alliance in partnership with Washington State University Extension and local farmers. Participation is free, with donations encouraged to help keep the event accessible. Maps and brochures will be available at participating farms and at Farm Tour Central, located at Chimacum Corner Farmstand.

Big shoutout to Hama Hama Oysters Saloon!!! Way to go - making this New York Times Best food list!
We think folks from the Big (East Coast) Cities are going to think it's very exotic just to go to a place called Lilliwaup, WA, and sit by an icy fjord!
Q: "Where exactly ARE we?!?"
A: Dining in the belly of the Olympic Culinary Loop!
YUM!
