Participatory art honoring people who have experienced sexual violence. Current exhibition: Rochester, NY, USA. New participants always welcome! Not a survivor?
Launched in October 2016, Mere Objects is the project of Sarah Jane (@Sarah Jane's Studio) in collaboration with an advisory group of fellow survivors of sexual violence. Its purpose is to honor and empower survivors of r**e, sexual abuse, & sexual assault, and to increase awareness of survivors within our communities. Survivors of all genders are encouraged to submit small objects to be included in an ever-growing art installation, and those who are able may also choose to make a financial donation to support the ongoing growth of this project. You can still help support this project! Like this page, share our video to help get the word out about this project, or make a financial donation in honor of a survivor in your life.
