Highlands PTA

🍎 Help us make a little fall magic for our Highlands staff!

The Sunshine Committee is creating an apple bar on October 15, and we need help filling the table with apples, dips, toppings, and supplies for 80–85 staff members.

🦉 TODAY’S LOST & FOUND UPDATE 👀

Okay parents… the labeling campaign is working. 😂👏

We were able to return TWO water bottles today for one very simple reason:

THEY HAD NAMES ON THEM. 🎉

No detective work.
No “mine is blue.”
No asking a 6-year-old to describe a water bottle they haven’t seen since sometime last week.

Name → kid → back where it belongs. 🙌

Unfortunately, while two water bottles checked out, the Lost & Found apparently accepted several new tenants. 😂

We’ve got a Minnie Mouse bag, more water bottles and enough jackets, hoodies and sweaters to suggest that Highlands has its own clothing exchange program.

And yes… ⚡ Pikachu is STILL here. His trainer remains missing. 😂

👀 Take a good look at the picture with your child. If you recognize something, send your Owl to the Lost & Found to pick it up.

And tonight, grab a Sharpie and add your child’s first + last name to the things that like to wander: jackets, hoodies, lunch boxes and water bottles.

Two labeled water bottles made it home today. 🙌

We would LOVE to lose a few more residents tomorrow. 😂

Please come collect your children’s belongings before this thing needs an addition. 🦉🤣

🍽️ Dinner: TEXAS ROADHOUSE will be on site plating PRE ORDERED meals into to-go boxes.

🍧 Dessert: Jeremiah's Italian Ice will be at school, too, so you can grab a sweet treat while you’re here!

Texas Roadhouse dinner orders close Monday, October 19 at noon. Check the photos in this post to see the order form and how it works. Return the order portion, keep your ticket, and bring your ticket to STEM Night to pick up your dinner. Forms will be sent home with students this week. We will begin taking orders online on October 1st.

We know weeknights are busy. Come enjoy STEM Night with your family, grab dinner, and make a stop at Jeremiah’s for dessert!
