Important Park Hours Update and News
We have important updates about our parks. Fields Park has reopened see updates here- https://www.portland.gov/parks/news/2026/8/5/fields-park-mostly-reopen-after-centennial-mills-fire.
And we want to share news about Tanner Springs and Jamison Square—the hours have changed, and both parks now close at 10 p.m. If someone is in a park after closing, Portland Park Rangers can address it (503) 823-1637. Demolition of the Centennial Mills building will start Monday, August 17. After the fire on August 2nd, the building was deemed too damaged to remain standing. Contractors plan to begin by using controlled explosions to take down the water tower on Monday afternoon.
