Dr. Liz Pearce and Gillian Croteau, PA-C, co-manage patients at PearceMD and offer 20 years of combined ENT experience, the care you deserve. In the state of Maine, patients must wait months to see an Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) specialist, but there is an easier way! PearceMD is founded on the patient-doctor relationship, offers home visits, direct phone/email communication, and is the first ENT Direct Specialty Care clinic in New England. "Direct Care" means we are out-of-network (OON) with most insurance carriers*. For our OON patients, we offer transparent cash pricing and do not require a referral. Without the burdens and interference of insurance hurdles, patients can be seen in the clinic quickly (often same or next day!), enjoy hour-long visits, undergo in-office procedures the same day, and experience the timely relief and peace of mind they deserve.
*Dr. Pearce has thoughtfully chosen to be in-network with Taro Health, Aetna, Maine Community Health Options, and Medicare (starting 7/24). Choosing to remain OON with other insurance carriers allows her and Gillian to provide personalized service not available elsewhere. We offer reasonable pricing for visits, lab work, and medications. Payment plans are available when needed, and we can assist you with reimbursement submission towards your OON benefits. We believe a patient’s story and time matter most and everyone deserve compassionate care that should not involve middlemen or long waits. After seven years working as a hospital-employed surgeon, she created an innovative, refreshing alternative option for Mainers who seek a direct, personalized approach to their ear nose and throat health.

💚👏Our incredible staff has been working hard all summer keeping things moving while up to 3 (!) folks have been out on leave. We appreciate their commitment to our patients, quality care, and learning new skills and tasks to fill in the gaps! We will be closed Friday 8/7/26 as an extra Summer Vacation Day for some well-deserved R & R. We will be open again Monday 8/10. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dr. Vasanth has seamlessly joined PearceMD and patients are raving! They quickly appreciate his ability to listen, educate, and guide them with his gentle, reassuring demeanor. Like Dr. Pearce, he wants to get to the bottom of an often "unsolved" medical issue and does it with compassion. We are so glad he is here!

Dr. Pearce is honored to serve on the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee for the Maine Medical Association, and she had a great weekend at the Board of Director’s Retreat in Manchester. She reported back: “time spent with this excellent group of docs is fun, productive, educational, and purpose-driven. We got a lot done! You have to be the change you want to see in the world. We also did a great painting activity to use the right side of our brains, I might have a new side hustle!” 🎨
