I’ve had a few people ask me “Why Christmas ‘97” and the answer is simple! It when I was in high school and I wanted to make a soap that really captured the vibe of being at the mall during the late 90’s at Christmas, with all the neon colors and lights. I am always looking for a nostalgic throw back and this one, with NSYNC playing in the background, had me in my feels!

If you’ve ever been a crafter/small biz that sells things during the holiday, you know how important it is to get ahead on making things. If I started making things after Halloween I would literally have no product since it takes about a month for soaps to cure 🤪 Who can relate?

But he has been willing to learn some of the more simple things to create and I love it so much. So, say lovely things to him so he has confidence to make more things 😊
