Here’s a bob cat on lookout mountain at sunrise, with Hood in the background. Haven’t named it yet. Anyone have any creative suggestions? I love how the colors in the rocks in the foreground glow. Just can’t seem to capture it with a photo.

Voice of the Gorge has been entered into a juried exhibition. I won’t know until August whether it has been selected, and I’m honored to have submitted it. The painting reflects the resilience of the Columbia Gorge, its renewal after wildfire and the enduring strength and beauty that emerge with a new dawn.

More goats. Although I understand they no longer live on Mt Ellinor and Washington in the Olympics. This photo was taken manny years ago. Thinking of doing a larger study….

Getting a day to paint. Working on the fourth in a series. Slow going, and I’m excited!!!

I found them in the Safeway parking lot. Victims of a GMC truck grill. Too beautiful to leave there. Not sure what to do with them next.
