LEAP - Life Expanding Adventure Program

LEAP has a way of bringing people back to each other and back to the river. The mentorship program has inspired us to give back and help new participants find their own connection with the river.

There's a group on the Lower Salmon right now. This week, we're paddling and building connections with Ukandu, supporting their mission to create hope, joy, and connection for families battling childhood cancer.

A quick look at the summer so far. Since June, we've shared the water with New Avenues for Youth , OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital , Friends of the Children - Portland , Edison High School, and more, across two states and two rivers. Different partners. Different stories. The same invitation to reconnect with self, others, and what's possible. Swipe through.

This scene on the Lower Salmon holds so much of what LEAP is about: taking on a challenge, contributing to a community, and creating space to see what might come next.

Months of preparation. Hundreds of hours of training. One powerful season ahead.
Today, LEAP launches our 2026 river season on the Deschutes River; kicking off another summer of no-fee programs with our community partners.
