Amber Ambedo

What happens when 4 stellar bands from the Pacific Northwest come together on a front porch?
You get an afternoon of immersive, boundary-pushing music- and something between a house show and a New Orleans style street performance- magnified by 100 with over 400 bands performing in Tacoma, Washington.

NW Post Rock Collective is a community dedicated to the PNW’s atmospheric, crescendo-driven, progressive underground music scene. We thoughtfully curate shows and festivals bringing together artists across post-rock, post-metal, progressive, math-rock, shoegaze, ambient and experimental music, creating spaces where listeners can discover something new and musicians can build a stronger regional community together.

This Saturday 7/18 during Tacoma Porchfest we’re bringing together:

A Collective Subconscious (Portland)- immersively engulfing instrumental post-rock/post-metal inspired by nature and psychedelia

Childspeak (Portland/formerly Eugene)- intricate and groovetacular progressive math-rock that balances precision with whimsy

X SUNS (Seattle)- rhythm-forward progressive rock that’s technically written and viscerally powerful

Amber Ambedo (Portland)- cinematic, ethereal orchestral rock filled with lush arrangements and moving melodies

Whether you’ve loved this music for years or you’re just wandering through Porchfest taking in the vibes, stop by, stay awhile, and experience what makes this community so special.

✨Free & All Ages✨
See you on the porch 🤘🏽
