Our love language has always been feeding people, we’ve always loved giving gift cards and feeding our community, especially new and postpartum moms. Now, as we’re just about 2 weeks away from welcoming our first daughter, Wei-Mi, into the world as two mommies, we’d love to experience a little of that love back. 🎀

Half a decade of love and friendships

A humble beginnings that shaped me into the woman that I am today. FK taught me how heartbreaks can turn into something so so beautiful. I was 25, young and naive I had lost everything during the pandemic and I gave everything I had all alone in 2020 to build something because I was craving deeply, connections within myself and my community. Food has always been it for me, food is the bridge that builds connection and community, and sharing my Vietnamese culture through a meal is something I’ve always been so proud and fond of. Feeding people is my purpose in life and FK leads me to the love of my life, the wife and mother that I am.

When I say “ we appreciate you “ we say it from the bottom of my heart. We are so grateful for each and everyone who we have a chance of encounter, how lucky for me to be working along my wife side, my chefs that are like parents to me and my crew who I love and adore and the friends that came through to eat with us. There’s such a deep intimacy about sharing a meal and feeding someone. Thank you for allowing us to be there for you, 5 years is a huge milestone and we are here because of each and everyone of you! You all means the world to us and we hope to be a place you’ll come back to for friendship and meal comfort.

Us pregnant mamas have been cooking up a project since the beginning of our pregnancy and we are so happy to share with you our beloved Stem Wine Bar is now also our third sister restaurant is now on 3920 N Mississippi. We are so grateful for your loving support, it’s such a dream for us to be able to be loved by Portland. So truly grateful for our incredible crew who made this the smoothest project.
