Sad to see the demise of this old building on our waterfront. How many of you have paintings or photos to share?
Going to home.
Paintings just seemed to find their right homes….this Batik painting of mine from a scene in Sellwood, found its owners when they came into the Gallery today. (Their story) They were sitting at Kay’s Bar and Grill the day they had made an offer on a condo in downtown Portland. While they were sitting there at Kay’s, their offer came through and was accepted. So when they saw this piece in the Gallery, they just had to have it as their own…. what a great connection. This is why I paint my city. Because I know what it means to me, and I hope to share that expression through my art with others… just made my Saturday!
