We asked Cristie what her favorite part of her job is AND her favorite hobby outside of work. Here’s what she shared:

Favorite part of her job:

Hands down, it’s the relationships. This industry runs on great collaboration. Every client, vendor, designer, and team is part of a chain where we all rely on and elevate each other’s work, and there’s something special about building real connections across that whole network. I’m also lucky to work alongside a team that genuinely cares about the details and the outcome. Nothing truly beats going to a project installation and seeing all that teamwork turn into something beautiful.

Favorite hobbies outside of work:

Chasing my two wild boys! They turn each day into a new adventure and I love being their Mom and get to enjoy the firsts, and beautiful experiences of life through their eyes.

We are grateful for all that Cristie brings to our team!

Anchor House is a state-of-the-art campus housing building designed with transfer students in mind, offering modern amenities and collaborative spaces for both students and the community.⁠

Located one block from campus, this building includes an indoor/outdoor fitness center and yoga studio, a maker’s space run by the Berkeley Art Studio, and special places to unwind and watch movies, cook, garden, and appreciate Bay Area sunsets with new friends.⁠

More than just bedrooms with desks, Anchor House provides transfer students with an anchor of support and a source of well-being and community.⁠

We asked Amy what her favorite part of her job is AND her favorite hobby outside of work. Here’s what she shared:

Favorite part of her job:

Being part of a team that helps bring projects to life. I love collaborating with so many different people, supporting clients in reaching their goals, and knowing that the work we do helps projects stay on time and within budget. I also really appreciate the culture of care, kindness, and clear communication that makes this such a great team to be part of.

Favorite hobbies outside of work:

Right now, my favorite pastime is being a first-time grandma and loving on my granddaughter, Callie Jane! I also love getting creative with embroidery, watercolor, mixed-media art, and upcycling, along with tackling projects around our home and spending time with my family.

We are grateful for all that Amy brings to our team!
