Mascotte Security Doors

We just installed Crimsafe Safe-S-Cape security window screens, giving this homeowner added protection without covering up the windows with bulky bars.

Safe-S-Cape combines Crimsafe’s tough stainless-steel security mesh with an emergency exit feature, so the window can still provide a quick escape route from inside the home when needed.

✔️ Strong stainless-steel security mesh
✔️ Added protection while still allowing airflow and visibility
✔️ Emergency egress from inside
✔️ Custom-made to fit each window
✔️ A clean look that blends right into the home

Well… look what we found in the Mascotte archives. 😂

Straight out of 2005 — complete with dramatic lighting, colorful security doors, and a little “Total Confidence!”

A lot has changed in 21 years (thankfully, graphic design included 😆), but one thing hasn’t: Mascotte is still right here in Portland, building custom steel security doors for local homes and businesses.

Mascotte has actually been around since 1974, and finding pieces like this from the company’s history is pretty fun. We may have updated the styles, colors, and photography since then…but a well-built security door never really goes out of style.

Who remembers catalogs looking like this?
