Thank you for giving me a chance to reflect the moments 🪔
The night was supported by and 🫡

While we have all these responsibilities and obligations in everyday life, we have dreams and goals. One accomplishment leads to another, and creates a sense of obligations that seems like an endless cycle 🌀 We realise coming home feeling drained and just want to rest, but we live in a world that demands us to keep showing up. In the end, we cannot live solely. This sense of ‘doing more’ is ingrained in capitalism, which only seems to just go go go, and life keeps moving forward. So when are we supposed to relax? When are we supposed to sit and get absorbed into creative acts?🍵When do we have a clear mind from a rested night?🌙

The interesting part of being an adult and pursuing my passion seems to lie in the inspiration that comes from pushing the limit, and feelings that little spark of accomplishment.

Music is the hardest drug in my life 💊

And it's my life itself🪞

To those who feel like paving your path within the unknown, keep listening to your soul 🎧🫀

Not to gain external validation, but to feel connected to yourself that gives you inspiration 🌬️🌌

And use it to connect with others.

What I’ve been finding is that all those small dots you connect - that nurture into something incredible. So ride the wave of that quick spurts of inspiration 🏄 And TAKE BREAK (necessity) 🛀

“Ichigo Ichie” - I think about this saying a lot these days.
It means even with the same person you see in your everyday life, their state in that moment and the experience you share is so unique and can never be repeated - even if you see them again or go through the same situation.
So embrace each moment sincerely 🍵

I feel this to every live show I get to share with anyone, especially to my bandmates, to the audience, to the venue, and to my own state of mind 🙂‍↕️

I felt a special connection with y’all in the way that all local musicians deserved to be heard 🌟

Acceleration has been out ♥️ it's been so surreal 🩵

Misa buckled down to deep dive into the production side, as she made the most of the setback of lacking funds while tackling the music video project for this song. She says, “It took a while for me to get the fundamental concepts to be a producer (baby-producer, ongoing…🎧). The process gets overwhelming as if I’m learning a new instrument. My limited ability might not push the song to its full potential, but I don’t mind - it’s all about the process of learning and discovering new skills along the way, anyways 🧪” Her intention carries into any future creations. “For a long time I didn’t even have a song to try on audio productions. Now I can finally get to do it with songs we managed to forge over the years, with friends I’ve encountered in this journey - people I trust, whose brains I can pick, and who I can grow with💡🧠”

Much like the warmth you feel in your chest while taking a walk on a cold night, this song evokes a similar sensation of spark of hope and grounded sense of self amid the darkness.

I hope you’re finding time to tune to yourself, to feel grounded, and to value your own rhythm amidst the busy season 🌻🌞

I’ve been forging my own path in a way that suits me personally instead of being tied down to the ideas that come from industry standards - being an independent musician/artist, everyone’s path is so unique and different.

Maybe there are certain right ways to do things (even standards for musicians exist)...

but is it feasible at all for ME?

If it’s too far to make it happen in the first place then, I’ll come up with my own way that works the best with the unique situation I’m placed in my current life, with ordinary locals who are also just busy with their own lives.

This is a creative field… and I want to embrace that.

Setbacks are opportunities for creativity💡

I’ve been working out to get inspired with those setbacks rather than being discouraged 🌬️⛈️

Paving creative paths won’t be accepted by all, but challenging boundaries is what we do as artists anyways 🗡️
