About pursuing the passion...
It IS a JOY.
BUT it is not just that when the society numbs us down to just follow the written script.

It's more than that.
It is essential.
It is a rebellious act for me b/c I cannot fit myself in the grown-up world pretending that I'm happy.

And I won't be the artist to just share the 'top of the iceberg' as if only doing this is all about fun 🎉🪩 nor want to entice your jealousy 🧊

It's more than that.

I'd be the last person who wants to organize a party to bring people on the table.
Having this passion puts me in a dilemma going on the extended social expeditions I am still uncomfortable to this day.
They are humbling experiences and I do enjoy them to the fullest - especially when I finally make things happen, only to then hit the deepest trench with self-doubt and existential questioning 🌀 (so you don't have to get jelly for my smile 😈🤭).

All I want to do is to get creative with like-minded people to shed some light on the deeper side of our human heart - maybe sth we usually ought not to reveal.

Not only moving people in some way,
but more than anything I want to push lonely souls' back not to give up on what makes who they are 🗡️

Creating an echo chamber?
One day I'd turn it into a full orchestra!! 🪉🎺

It's been several months since I ducked down to work on recordings amid the daily swirls 🍥

Slowly but for surely, I'm feeling the progress made through tiny DIY baby steps🪜🐌📚
It can be so overwhelming, exciting, and tantalizing all at the same time! 🎧🕊️⏰

Meanwhile I'm so excited coming out of my shed to celebrate the summer community gathering on 6/27 ✨

The night was supported by and 🫡

While we have all these responsibilities and obligations in everyday life, we have dreams and goals. One accomplishment leads to another, and creates a sense of obligations that seems like an endless cycle 🌀 We realise coming home feeling drained and just want to rest, but we live in a world that demands us to keep showing up. In the end, we cannot live solely. This sense of ‘doing more’ is ingrained in capitalism, which only seems to just go go go, and life keeps moving forward. So when are we supposed to relax? When are we supposed to sit and get absorbed into creative acts?🍵When do we have a clear mind from a rested night?🌙

The interesting part of being an adult and pursuing my passion seems to lie in the inspiration that comes from pushing the limit, and feelings that little spark of accomplishment.

Music is the hardest drug in my life 💊

And it's my life itself🪞

To those who feel like paving your path within the unknown, keep listening to your soul 🎧🫀

Not to gain external validation, but to feel connected to yourself that gives you inspiration 🌬️🌌

And use it to connect with others.

What I’ve been finding is that all those small dots you connect - that nurture into something incredible. So ride the wave of that quick spurts of inspiration 🏄 And TAKE BREAK (necessity) 🛀

“Ichigo Ichie” - I think about this saying a lot these days.
It means even with the same person you see in your everyday life, their state in that moment and the experience you share is so unique and can never be repeated - even if you see them again or go through the same situation.
So embrace each moment sincerely 🍵

I feel this to every live show I get to share with anyone, especially to my bandmates, to the audience, to the venue, and to my own state of mind 🙂‍↕️

I felt a special connection with y’all in the way that all local musicians deserved to be heard 🌟
