Last month, we hosted our first-ever TakeRoot Tour of Homes! This special event welcomed Connected and Committed TakeRoot Future Residents to campus to tour 15 homes across our 25 acres🏡
It was a day filled with exploration, connection, and a closer look at what life at RoseVilla can truly feel like. TakeRoot Residents already know us well as members of our waitlist, but with our strong occupancy, getting the opportunity to step inside a variety of homes and see the lived experience of Residents was something extra special. It was a chance to move beyond imagining life at RoseVilla and experience a little more of it firsthand. A special thank you to our Residents who opened their homes and were so welcoming to their future neighbors!
But do you know what is easy to catch... the spirit of community and fun!
The RoseVilla Team Member Olympics was full of so many triumphs, as well as some well-humored missteps, so how could we not show these epic splash moments from our water balloon toss?🎈💦

Last Thursday, UCF hosted an Ice Cream Social for Residents and Team Members, offering a chance to enjoy a sweet treat while connecting, relaxing, and spending time together. The event featured ukulele music from the M.C. Jammers and RoseVilla's own Two-Chord Band, bringing the cheerful sounds of the Pacific Islands to delighted listeners.
It was the perfect way to stay cool on a warm day and add a little extra joy to everyone's afternoon!
Today is the final day of our annual Team Member Olympics! Over the past five days, RoseVilla Team Members have come together to compete, cheer each other on, and enjoy a week filled with fun, teamwork, and friendly competition. It's one of our favorite traditions and ways to celebrate our team 🏆
Keep your eyes peeled next week for more fun content of this year's games 👀

Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸
Today marks the 250th anniversary of the United States' independence, and what better way to celebrate than with a community BBQ?
This week, our community came together for a festive cookout, where everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch, great conversation, and beautiful weather☀️
Just in time for July 4th too! 🇺🇸
A new flagpole is now standing proudly at RoseVilla! Our nation's flag can now fly high while creating space on both the new and existing flagpoles to display additional flags that celebrate our community and special occasions.
Pride has no age—and our Residents prove it every year. 🌈✨
Our annual RoseVilla Pride Parade returned to campus on Friday, and Residents showed up ready to celebrate. With music, drinks, dancing, and plenty of laughter, it was an afternoon full of fun and connection.
A huge thank you to our Team Members who helped make it all happen—from driving the surreys to serving refreshments and celebrating right alongside Residents. We wrapped up the evening with a dance party, and let's just say the dance floor did not disappoint 💃🕺

is a day of reflection, celebration, and commemoration of the end of slavery in the United States.
Opal Lee, the “Grandmother of Juneteenth”, was instrumental in establishing this day of national observance. At age 89, she made a symbolic walk from Fort Worth to Washington, D.C., to advocate for federal recognition of Juneteenth. Her determination, resilience, and belief in the power of community helped inspire, educate, and unite people across generations.
Today, we honor Opal Lee’s legacy and the strength, resilience, and perseverance of a people who have fought for freedom, justice, and equality. May we continue to learn from history, celebrate progress, and carry forward the work of building a more inclusive future.
