Wine With Me PDX

Yesterday I had the pleasure of joining Adria and some new friends at CHO Wines and baby we had a time! I know I say that every time she and I hang out, but it’s so true!! I am ashamed to say that it was my first time at the Cho Winery since they’ve opened, but it is definitely not my last time there! Their winery is beautiful, the tasting room is super cute, cozy, and inviting, the wines are absolutely amazing, and Dave and Lois are the ultimate hosts! The vibes were on point and we truly had an amazing time there. I also ran into my friend PLANT BASED PAPI , it was nice to see him! We hadn’t seen each other in a while. (If you aren’t following anyone tagged in this post, do it now!) I love my wine life. I have met some of the most amazing people, I’ve gone to some dope places and events, I have some of the BEST wines, and I’m just warming up!! Tonight Adria and I had a ball! We celebrated our friends birthday and then we had dinner at G-Love PDX where they were featuring Et Fille Winery . We got the pleasure of meeting Jessica, who is the winemaker and got to hear some of her story. What a great time we had! Drinks were good, food was good, and of course the wine was phenomenal! I can’t wait until we go visit her winery!!
Adria, thank you for being the amazing sister friend that you are! I love you deep and I can’t wait until our next night out 🥰

Auntie had to go support Drae Slapz for yet another Tasting Notes and yes, I bought a bottle, yes the food was good, yes the vibes were there, and yes I had a good time. I love a good solo night out every now and again.

I heard it’s so of course I had to do the most and do a play on Pinot Noir. I made my way to Total Wine & More to grab bottles from one of my favorite wineries Willamette Valley Vineyards and I’ll be having a cute little flight once my Rosé and White Pinot Noir chills. Are you all celebrating Pinot Noir day? If so, what will you be sipping on?

Today Adria and I went to LUCIDWILD ESTATE and when I tell you we had a time…!!!! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family. The ENTIRE team at Lucid was amazing!! The President came and chatted with us, the manager came and made sure we were having a great time, we got to tour the winery and would you believe they got me to do a chocolate and port pairing?! The wines were great, the food pairings were amazing, even though we tried to convince them to switch a couple of the pairings (lol), and honestly, I don’t have enough word to express how great it was. Now, I’ve already told them we will be back for my birthday next month (I’ll keep your all posted on the exact date) and I hope as many of you that can come, show up. You will not regret it! This was honestly one of the best winery experiences I’ve ever had! If you’re local and have not been to Lucid, please do yourself a favor and go! This evening Adria and I went to Parallel for their chicken and bubbles and they did not disappoint! The bubbles were the PREFECT pairing with the chicken and their biscuits! We will definitely be back for brunch!! I absolutely love when I’m able to get some one on one time with my wine girlies and every time Adria and I get together, we have a time!! We will see our friends at Parallel again soon, and I already can’t wait until I see my wine friends again! Here’s to a dope ass Thursday 🥂

Decided to do a “white people taco night” so of course I HAD to have a beer while I cook, and of course it had to be local! Migration Brewing | Est. 2010 is one of my favorite breweries here in Portland, so what better to go with our tacos?!!

Last night I got together hang out with some of my favorite people and we had a time! It always feels so good to the souls when you spend time with people who are good for you. Now we were definitely missing a few others, but I think all of us needed last night. We definitely have to run this back soon!! The team at Parallel took great care of us and as per usual, the wine and food were excellent.
