Come join us with Write Around Portland for this Pride Month Writing Series for LGBTQ+ Members & Allies!🌈 This free series invites you to try writing alongside other people by putting your pen to paper and seeing what shows up on the page. Spelling, grammar, and handwriting don’t matter! This group will explore different kinds of creative writing and will finish with an anthology publication and public reading.

All writing materials and snacks are provided. Great for writers of all levels and experience.❤️

It's Pride here at Friendly House!🌈🎉 Come celebrate with lots of fun activities including music, rainbow paper crafts, and bracelet making. Enjoy barbequed hot dogs, chips, and popsicles. Listen to some great tunes and celebrate with your family, friends, and neighbors!🎵

Hey jam makers and shakers! It's time to jam at Friendly House! We are looking for volunteers to help us with berry picking, processing, and cooking! ✨Please note! If you sign up for jam making or processing, you'll need an Oregon Food Handlers Card. The process to get one is very simple and takes about half an hour (and we will reimburse the $10 fee) ✨

Mercy Housing is planning a new affordable housing development for seniors on NW 24th and Vaughn and hosting a community feedback session at Friendly House! Join us to learn more about what is being considered and to let us know what you would like to see included in the future development. There will be food, refreshments, and raffle prizes for participants.
