I didn’t make it to the top 5 of 59 applicants for the Clackamas County Board of Commissioners seat. That was the decision of the 4 sitting board members who had just been embroiled in conflict among the last two people elected to that seat and the third time there has been turn over in less than 10 years. It’s during a budget crisis and uncertainty over federal funding. They needed to select the applicants they did and I respect that.

I’m so grateful for everyone who stepped up to email in a support letter, read these posts and be there for each other. I plan to go back to being more involved in my local community like I have been over the years.

Open to all in Clackamas County who may have questions or concerns regarding the selection process for the open seat in the Board of Commissioners. Come support a local business, sip on some coffee and talk amongst fellow residents. I’ll be at the Board meeting 4/24 when they deliberate on the top 5 of 59 applicants for the open seat.
