When the Sabbath had passed, on the first day of the week, in the deep dark of the dawn, Maryam went to see the burial site, and brought aromatic spices with her that she had prepared so that she could go rub them on Jesujta.

Arriving at the tomb after the sun had risen, Maryam went into the tomb, and seeing that Jesujta’s body was missing, she started to cry, but a man’s voice said to her: “Woman, why are you crying?”

Thinking it was the gardener, she said to the man, “Sir, if it was you who carried him away, please tell me where you put him, and I will take him.”

Then Jesujta, removing his hood, said, “Maryam!”

Turning around, Maryam saw that it was Jesujta, and said to him, “Master!” so she approached him, seized his feet, and prostrated herself before him.

Jesujta said to her, “Joy to you, Maryam! Don’t hang on to me, because I haven’t yet gone up to Lios. And don’t be afraid, but be on your way quickly to the Disciples, including Kefa, and tell them that I have risen from the dead, and that I’m going up to the God of us all. Get moving!”

And she went quickly, bolting out of the tomb with fear and great joy, convulsed and out of her mind with shock.

Doing this, Jesujta sent out through Maryam, from the place the sun rises clear to where it sets, the Sacred Proclamation that never rots away, of rescue and liberation that lasts for all time: that living His Teaching, you will cross over the Fire, become One with Lios, and live forever in wholeness with the Light. Amen.
