Three simple mistakes can compromise your watch’s water resistance

A 5 ATM watch can handle splashes, hand washing, and light rain but that doesn’t mean it’s made for swimming or diving. Even a water-resistant watch can let water in when certain details are overlooked.

Three things to remember:
❗️ Make sure the screw-down crown is fully tightened.
❗️ Never operate the crown or pushers while the watch is wet or underwater.
❗️ Have the gaskets checked and replaced periodically.
