Friendly reminder that we will be closed for Labor Day next Monday, September 7. We won't be hosting any events, and we won't have office hours or be processing any scheduling inquiries that day.

Crema will still be open, so please do still stop by for coffee and tasty treats! (Sorry, no giraffes allowed inside the building.)

Stop in Wednesday morning for French for Young Children with Madame Meggie! Welcome to a French class geared towards fun and wonder. French language skills are not required! We'll sing and dance with scarves and puppets to old favorites and popular French children's songs. Taught by longtime early childhood educator and francophile Meggie McCue. $10-$20 recommended donation.

Wednesdays at 10am in the Sanctuary at Taborspace.

NOTE: Madame Meggie won't be with us on September 9th, but she will return on the 16th!

SUMMERFEST IS TOMORROW, August 15!!

Here are some useful things to know:
• This event is FREE TO ATTEND, but there is a suggested donation of at least $10 for headphones provided for the silent disco (limited supply).
• If you're driving, please use our parking lot on SE 54th & Belmont.
• If you're taking TriMet, the #15 bus stops right outside Taborspace on SE 55th.
• We will have popcorn, snow cones, and non-alcoholic beverages (suggested donation of $3 each).
• QR codes will be on display for donations. If you'd like to make a cash donation, please be aware we cannot provide change.
• There are restrooms just inside our 54th Ave entrance (closest to the yard) and they are ADA accessible.

*Please note that not all organizations may be tabling throughout the full duration of the event!

Hello community! We're just one week away from SummerFest 2026 and we're looking for volunteers to help us with snowcones, popcorn, and taking donations!

There are 3-hour shifts available from either 3:30pm - 6:30pm or 5:30pm - 8:30pm. Please email [email protected] if you're interested in helping us out! (No DMs, please!)

We're excited to announce a new performer for family time on Wednesdays in the Sanctuary! Starting tomorrow, come to French for Young Children with Madame Meggie, every Wednesday at 10:00am.

Madame Meggie writes:

"My name is Meggie, I've been teaching French to kids since 2019. I will be singing classics that most kids know in English in French. Some songs you can expect to hear are: the itsy bitsy spider, the wheels on the bus, frère Jacques, head shoulders knees and toes, and more educational songs. Songs will be sung in English and then French if applicable. Bring your bébés and let's have fun!"
