Getting ready for the Slow Down Songs EP release has me feeling super nostalgic. I’ve been looking back on musical path since moving to Portland, and it’s been such an epic ride.

Really excited to bring this new EP and the next chapter of Small Skies into the world. Would love to see you at the show 💙

Here are some old photos and show posters I dug up along the way:
1. Before Small Skies, I was writing music under the name stepkid—that’s what I showed up to Portland with. After a lot of work and trial&error, things started to pick up. This is from an early photo shoot.
2. Somehow I got .e.v to play a few shows with me on cello and drums—they’re even on the first Small Skies album.
3. For a while I played drums in a band called Stay Calm with and . We played some epic shows, including opening for and .
4. The very first Small Skies show at .
5. Small Skies went through a number of personnel changes, but everyone who played in the band was amazing to work with.

Really excited to share that I’ll be releasing the new Small Skies EP Slow Down Songs next month, with a release show at !!!
celestia (fresh off opening for ) and (who just dropped the beautiful album Little Glimmer) will be playing, which I couldn’t be more happy about!
