It’s official!
I’ve received my Guinness World Records and I’m so excited. Fastest solo row (female class, there’s no FKT record) and youngest female solo row.

Meet Faye, my ’84 Vanagon. 🚐❤️
Faye was one of my first Big Hard Scary Things. She taught me how to fix things, problem solve, and trust that I could probably figure it out—even when I had absolutely no idea what I was doing.
She also gave me freedom. Freedom to try, and to realize I was capable of a lot more than I thought.
Turns out an old van can teach you a lot about rowing oceans.

We did this together. You all helped me raise $220,000 for mental health, physical health and educational scholarships for Grand Canyon River Guides and their community. This money has a bigger impact than I can really explain in a video. I am so grateful. Thank you for making this happen.

Grand Canyon is an incredible and awe-inspiring piece of our public lands. It’s also a powerful, dynamic place that reminds us we are not the ones in control in the backcountry.
Thank you to the National Park Service and everyone who shows up in the moments when things get hard.
And to the Grand Canyon river community: you are something truly special. If you find yourself needing support, the Whale Foundation is there to love you through hard things.

I got to check in with one of my heroes, fellow ocean rower and amazing sea woman Liz Wardley Offshore. She was half of my weather team when I crossed the Pacific this summer, and it looks like our lives may parallel each other for a bit longer.
