Y’all, I care deeply about human rights, which is why I can no longer support a company like Meta, a company that uses DEI initiatives to bolster its image, only to abandon them to appease a group of predatory, avaricious bigots. When you already have all the money, all the influence, and all the power, what else do you need? To what end?!

As a musician, Instagram has been a vital tool for sharing my music. Walking away from it is a significant compromise. But standing against hate, misinformation, and a system that turns its back on marginalized communities matters far more than any personal dream.

I’ll keep my Instagram profile up for now, but I’m no longer engaging with this app and will delete my account once I’ve fully transitioned to a new platform.

In the meantime, I’ve joined Bluesky, a great alternative to . If you’d like to stay connected, you can find me there under the same handle.
