It was the perfect afternoon to step away, connect with colleagues, and enjoy a sweet treat together as we start counting down to this exciting milestone. A big thank you to everyone who stopped by and a special shoutout to our social committee for making it happen. 🙌

We spent the day cleaning and organizing the new yurt and bathroom to prepare for upcoming educational groups, while also laying pavers at both the waterfowl enclosure and bathroom to create safer, smoother entries.

This past weekend, the LRS team took on the SELCO Community Credit Union Pole Pedal Paddle relay in Bend, Oregon! 🏃‍♀️🚴‍♂️🚣‍♀️

From mountain running and biking to kayaking and the final sprint, our team had a blast tackling every leg of this multi-sport race.👏

In celebration of our 50th anniversary, we stepped back in time with a 70s-themed happy hour complete with signature cocktails, snacks, and attire. 🪩🕺

A special thank you to Byron Balogh for capturing the evening on a 1970s 35mm manual focus SLR camera using Kodak Ultramax 400 color film, adding an authentic touch. 🎞️

A workplace gym, reimagined. At The Standard Insurance Center, the LRS Team transformed and expanded the building’s fitness facility into an elevated wellness destination, complete with instructor-led yoga and cycling studios, high-end equipment, and a dynamic fitness floor. Dark wood slats tie the space to the tower lobby, bold graphics energize the environment, and tunable lighting adapts throughout the day. A serene Japandi-inspired yoga studio subtly honors Standard’s Japanese parent company, creating a moment of calm within an active hub.

As Women’s History Month comes to a close, we’re reflecting on the meaningful ways our team engaged throughout March. Across both our Portland and Bend offices, staff were invited to contribute to a pledge wall sharing personal commitments to support gender equality and foster a more inclusive workplace. The wall remained up all month, giving everyone time to reflect and add their voice.

Last week, team members in both offices also proudly wore purple in solidarity, creating a powerful visual reminder of our collective support. 💜
