Overlapping Action Mini Animation Festival

Overlapping Action is an animation festival based in the City of Roses: Portland, Oregon. Started in the Northeast in Boston, Massachusetts, it still retains strong connections with the animation community in Boston. Overlapping Action screens work from local and national animators from cities in North America such as Boston, MA, Portland, OR, NYC, NY, and Los Angeles California. Each iteration of Overlapping Action contains a different theme, as well as particular parameters for each animated video. Past themes have included: "Change, Trip and Grow, Time and currently Combination". Submissions are curated and edited together into a live edit that is screened in Portland, OR, Boston, MA.
