Come on down to the People’s Farmers Market in Rockwood at the Sunrise Center on Sunday, September 20th to access helpful community resources.

People's Farmers Market in Rockwood REACH works with Play Grow Learn to run local farm-to-market programs.

We are thrilled to join our partners at Hands On Greater Portland October 6-10, 2026 for their annual Community Impact Week!

CEP is looking for volunteers to help pack weatherization and energy efficiency materials into kits that will later be distributed by CEP staff to income-qualified workshop attendees. These kits help participants reduce energy costs and stay comfortable in their homes year-round.

Attention Veterans! On Friday, September 18th, Transition Projects, Inc. will be hosting a Veterans Resource & Wellness Fair from 10am - 2pm.

You’re invited to a screening of Grassroots to the Grid! Clean energy can make homes healthier, safer, and more affordable—but not everyone has the same opportunity to benefit from the transition.

Grassroots to the Grid is a locally produced documentary exploring Oregon’s clean energy transition through the voices of organizations and community leaders working toward a more equitable energy future. The film looks at both the progress being made and the barriers that continue to prevent frontline communities from fully benefiting from clean energy.

Following the screening, stay for a panel discussion about the issues raised in the film and how our community can help build a cleaner, healthier, and more equitable energy future.

Portland hit 50,000 Home Energy Scores! This is a big milestone, and we’re proud to be a part of it. CEP provides free home energy scores to income-qualified homeowners who are selling their homes, helping make the process more accessible for everyone.

Over 50,000 Home Energy Scores Recorded in Portland Last month marked over 50,000 Home Energy Scores recorded since the program began. With this milestone, more than 30% of Portland's housing stock has received a Home Energy Score, helping Portlanders make informed decisions about energy investments for their homes.

Need a car but worried about the cost? Access to clean transportation shouldn't be limited by income. You may qualify for up to $4,000 off a used EV or up to $7,500 off a new EV through Oregon's Charge Ahead program.

This program can help Oregon families lower transportation costs, reduce spending on gas and make cleaner transportation more accessible to communities that have historically faced the greatest barriers. Oregon residency is required.

After more than a decade serving as CEP's Board President, Jeff Cole is transitioning to Past President.

During his tenure, CEP experienced tremendous growth, including expanding our staff and hiring Executive Director Charity Fain. His leadership helped guide us through important milestones and positioned CEP for the future.
