Margot Lane discusses young teens being lured by Corey Feldman in DMs.
Margot Lane is a dynamic artist and bandleader based in Los Angeles, California, known for her eclectic blend of rock, pop, and blues, with a rotating group of talented musicians. Drawing inspiration from her roles as a teacher, human rights advocate, and legal professional, Margot’s creative journey is as diverse as her background. Originally from Buffalo, New York, she brings over 19 years of experience in teaching, performing, and musical collaboration. In 2022, Margot channeled her energy into the studio, composing and recording the ambient album Mystic Woods. With her latest release scheduled for this Spring 2026, Margot intends on her new EP - Merely Ghosts - emulating the stages of grieve and then triumph with live performances continuing to fuel her creative evolution.
Margot’s reputation extends beyond her own music—she has worked as a live musician and piano technician for iconic artists such as Dick Dale, Elton John, Marco Antonio Solis, Kamyar, and many more. Additionally, she shares her wealth of knowledge through online courses like Beginner Piano 1, Artist Series: Taylor Swift Songs on Piano, and Pop Songs on platforms like Skillshare and Udemy.

Kelly Upshaw brings to his projects a wealth of experience in music and audio. For more than a decade he has led his own band, The Hope Trust (whose albums, The Incurable Want [2007], Light Can't Escape [2011], and Passengers [2018], he produced and engineered). On the performance side, in addition to playing guitar and singing, Kelly is a skilled drummer and regularly plays bass guitar and keyboards in the studio. Kelly also designs and installs sound systems and mixes concerts for venues and events all around DFW/d with his company Upshaw Sound Design. He has eclectic musical tastes and a great ear for production.
Kelly has been Tour Manager and Sound Engineer for A Flock of Seagulls the past year, and has made the sometimes grueling life on the road SO much better. Join with us as we relive the recent Totally Tubular Tour and forthcoming South America tour.
