This week, Fora Health was proud to participate in The Peer Company's rappelling event at the Hyatt Centric, where folks rappelled down the building to raise funds for Alyssa Daye Gardens, a housing project that will provide 31 safe, stable homes for Oregon families.

We're grateful to be part of events that strengthen our community!

When we recently interviewed Joey, a former patient at Fora Health, he told us that treatment can be intimidating at first. But as he leaned into the process and kept showing up, he found connection, support, and pieces of his own story reflected in the people around him.

Today, Joey's recovery journey is a testament to what's possible through commitment and community. As he shared, "You really do get out of Fora what you put into it."

In recognition of National Recovery Month, Fora Health joined The Walk for Recovery last weekend to celebrate resilience, reduce stigma, and spread the message that recovery is possible and hope is real.

The event raises funds for Oregon Recovers, a nonprofit dedicated to improving Oregon's response to the addiction crisis and expanding access to recovery support.
We're so glad to have made it!

Recovery from addiction is not one-size-fits-all. Multiple pathways to recovery may include professional substance use disorder treatment, medications, peer support, cultural traditions, faith, harm reduction, family support, or a combination of these approaches. The most effective recovery path is one that supports the individual’s health, safety, healing, and long-term well-being. Every person deserves to pursue addiction recovery with dignity, respect, and individualized support.
