Krista Vangstad has been riding since a very young age. Following her passion for riding and learning she applied for a working student position with 3-time Olympian, Kevin Freeman. She worked with Kevin at his successful show and training program for 7 years moving up from working student to assistant trainer. This combined with multiple clinics from top clinicians and a job riding and training at a competitive show barn in Ireland makes her an invaluable resource for both horse and rider. Krista has experience taking horses from just barely broke all the way up to showing at the Grand Prix level. She has experience teaching students at all levels from the short stirrup to the High JR/Am jumpers. She has a way with training that allows both horse and rider to excel confidently forward.
