The 3 SOLD signs represent the 3 offers we received on this Craftsman-style home in the Rose City Park neighborhood. 🏡 Even though we can only accept one, reviewing multiple offers written tens of thousands $$$ above list price is always a priceless experience. 🤩
Many, many thanks go out to Jerry & Zandy for believing in me and my talents! Once again we, “Made it Happen.”

The most gratifying part for us Realtors about using the MLS is when we publish a listing to go “live” and changing the status from PEN to SLD.
What, what!!! 🏡🕺🏻

Today I was recognized for my 20yrs of service here at RE/MAX as a Real Estate Agent. 🏡🕺🏻
Even though our branch is now named Portland Metro it all started on NE Broadway for me and many, many other solid and successful agents out there who have since moved on.
Well, I suppose you can’t blame me for being loyal. Here’s to another 20 more! 👊🏼💥

80’s rock band Loverboy had it all wrong when they wrote the lyrics. Should have been, ”…every Agent’s working on the weekend…” 🎶🎸
At least that’s what it feels like lately but it’s all good in the hood. My busy spring selling season is here! 🏡
I may not have Hollywood Star talent 🎥, Glamour looks 🕺🏻 or a disk-jockey’s voice 🎤, but I do have something YOU or one of your family or friends might want!

I am so grateful. When a childhood friend and Grant High alumni asks me to sell her home, it’s the greatest compliment one can receive. Especially when there are so many other Realtors and options out there nowadays. 🤷🏻♂️
Laura is one of the sweetest, most gentle and soft-spoken women I’ve ever met. It was my pleasure serving her. People [and clients] like Laura are the reason why l love my work! ❤️🏡
Congrats to my friend and client, Laura “Litofe” Odoms! We got ‘er done. ✅

Today’s task… deposit Earnest Money check on behalf of my client. 💸💰
So what is Earnest Money (EM) exactly? EM is essentially a deposit that buyer offers the seller out of good faith once an offer has been accepted. The more the merrier, of course, but I typically suggest 2.00% of the offer amount to convey sincerity.
The good news for buyers is in most situations, as long as buyer acts in good faith, earnest money is refundable. As long as any contract agreements are not broken or decision deadlines are met, buyers usually get their earnest money back. Unless the EM has been made non-refundable as a special provision written into the agreement. 😬
If the deal goes through these monies are applied towards buyer’s purchase! 🏡
