I’ve only discovered this amazing French band but quickly became very obsessed with their latest album Coda and their singer voice (and style).
Since I wanted to bring this little series back, and in an effort to lean into all things French more, it was the perfect album to start again 💙

Apéro (short for apéritif) is a French tradition that I always loved. It’s when you have almost a pre meal little snack. It could be anything from a handful of peanuts, to little toasts, crudités, an assortments of nuts, saucisson etc depending on the occasion.
It’s not something we do everyday, it’s more of a little special occasion thing, either to celebrate the start of the weekend, or because loved ones are here for dinner. It’s also often accompanied by a drink (alcoholic or not) and in my mind it’s just synonymous with good times. You talk, you laugh, you snack, what could be better than this?
I thought incorporating some of that and making it more of a (girl) dinner would be perfect, especially in the warmer month when I’m less hungry, I don’t want to spend a lot of time cooking or getting a meal ready. I thought it would also be fun for my toddler to eat with his hands, and I loved this one. I definitely want to do this more often.
What clichés about French people did I forget?
I thought it would be fun to talk about clichés, especially as someone who chose to live in a different country. As long as they’re not harmful they can sometimes be kind of fun.
I got my first ever manicure and I’m in love!
I love the white shimmer mixed with the gold chrome, it’s perfect for early summer.
I love it when Instagram shows me cool small businesses!
A few weeks ago I stumbled upon and immediately fell in love with their bags. This one is made from upcycled lace curtains which is super cool and makes the bag unique. The style is super cute and seems like the perfect size for all the stuff I need to carry around.

Do you use cruelty-free products?
You’d think that in 2026, animal testing would be a thing of the past, but it unfortunately is not. Luckily, there are lots amazing brands who refuse cruelty and offer amazing products!
This nice striped shirt has replaced my cheap plaid shirts.
Don’t get me wrong I still love a good plaid shirt, it’s definitely and alternative kid staple, but this striped shirts is a lot thinner, which is perfect for warmer weather. The stripes also feel a bit more summery, unlike plaid that feels more like Fall
