We take the time to cook our family recipes to perfection so that you can enjoy the comfort of warm soups, stews, casseroles, and cacciatore, just like mom made them. These recipes helped power the bodies and imaginations of pioneers, bridge builders, and artists. We are delighted to bring these meals alive for you, today.

After 11 wonderful years, Portland Kettle will be closing our doors on June 30th as Gayle retires after an incredible 50-year career of running and owning restaurants.
What began as Gayle and Ian’s dream of bringing people together through a comforting bowl of delicious soup became something much bigger—a community. Your support, loyalty, and friendship have filled our dining room and our hearts for more than a decade.
We invite you to join us on June 29th & 30th for one last meal, a free piece of cornbread, and recipe cards for our signature soups – so a little piece of Portland Kettle can live on in your homes ❤️

Our Gourmet Chicken Salad can be ordered two separate ways! As a sandwich on a kaiser roll, or skip the carbs and make it a salad on top of greens!
