Our mission? To cultivate a strong bond among girls and non-binary youth of the Global Majority*.
Brown Girl Rise is a radical sisterhood of girls of color reclaiming their connection to body, community, land, health, and creativity to cultivate a just future where we rise together. We're a vibrant community of Black, Indigenous, and girls and nonbinary youth of color. Together, we're reclaiming our connections to body, community, land, health, and creativity, shaping a future where we all rise together.
🌍 What's the Global Majority, you ask? It's a beautiful term acknowledging that most of the world is a tapestry of ethnicities. No more othering – by saying "global majority," we celebrate what we are, embracing the richness of diversity. BROWN GIRL RISE IS NOW A 501(C)(3)
