Walk + Roll Day Is Coming!
International Walk + Roll to School Day is coming up on October
7th! Parents, this is a great chance to get your child excited about
active transportation. Getting exercise in the fresh air is the best
way to get mentally and physically prepared for a day in the
classroom. Mark your calendar and plan your route!

¡Se acerca el Día de caminar y rodar!
¡El Día internacional de caminar y rodar a la Escuela se acerca el 7
de octubre! Padres, es una excelente oportunidad para motivar a
sus hijos sobre el transporte activo. Hacer ejercicio al aire libre es
la mejor manera de prepararse mental y físicamente para un día en
el aula. ¡Marca tu calendario y planifica tu ruta!
As in years past we want to remind everyone of our safety protocols when driving/parking on campus. Please note that while we know the volume of traffic at drop-off/pick up can be challenging...administrators and district officials have analyzed and determined the safest and most efficient procedures to accommodate our high flow of traffic. For buses, Transportation has deemed the staff parking lot as the best option for buses to flow through campus and successfully return to Kaiser Rd without creating more traffic challenges. We know that drop-off/pick-up times offer opportunities to exercise patience and kindness. We appreciate your efforts is adhering to our campus traffic plan.

This is a friendly reminder for our returning and new Sato families. Students that arrive after 7:45am (the second bell) are considered *tardy. Parents need to park in our visitor parking lot (not along curb), then walk their student to the school entrance. We appreciate parents taking on the task of completing the sign-in sheet as the most legible handwriting and complete information provided allows our staff to properly update student attendance in a timely manner. THANK YOU!
*Excused Tardy: Please report excused late arrival circumstances (i.e. appointment) through the "Report Student Absences" on our website home page as a "Partial Absence". Parent will still need to sign-in their student at the Tardy table at arrival, but our staff will update the attendance record to "excused late" if reported online within 48 hours.

Park + Walk is simple: drive to a park or other safe location near
school and then walk the rest of the way! This option is ideal for
families who don’t feel comfortable walking or biking the whole
way to school. This may be due to distance or other hazards along
the route.
Be part of the solution – fewer cars around schools makes it
safer for everyone.
Reduce your carbon footprint and limit unhealthy pollutants.
Squeeze in some extra steps with a quick walk.
Save money by driving less.
Ask your school if they have a Park + Walk location, if not, contact
